How to deposit your work in Dadun

Follow these steps to deposit your work on Dadun:

  1. Sign the authotization form for depositing research materials.

The author gives his/her consent for his/her output resulting from research carried out at IESE to be deposited on Dadun (you only need to sign it once: the first time you deposit an electronic document on Dadun).

  1. Then register your work in Academ and mark the Dadun option if you want it to be uploaded and attach the appropriate version of your work in pdf format (the postprint article pdf file or an author’s pdf copy). If an embargo is needed specify dates in the observations field.

Afterwards the IESE Library staff will:

  1. Check if the work you want to deposit is not already available on Dadun.
  2. Check publisher copyright policies regarding institutional repositories.

For journal articles: look up the journal’s editorial policies in the SHERPA/RoMEO or Dulcinea databases, which contain academic-journal editor authorizations.

For books and book chapters: look up the policy on the publisher’s website or contact the publisher for authorization.

  1. If the work complies with copyright rights to deposit in an institutional repository, the Library staff will upload it to the IESE Business School Collection in Dadun.
  2. Send an email to the author, including confirmation that the work has been uploaded to Dadun with a persistent url to access it.
