The TA with Elsevier is the first national TA signed by CRUE-Spanish Universities. It was negotiated by CRUE. The agreement enables members to publish in open access articles by researchers from Spanish Universities and the CSIC that were accepted after January 1, 2021.

Notice: The CRUE (Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities) is currently negotiating the renewal of transformative agreements with Elsevier, and access may be interrupted if an agreement is not reached. Additionally, publication in journals from this publisher will not be available until the agreements are renewed. We will provide updates as official communications from the CRUE become available.
Article publication date: to qualify articles must be accepted after January 1, 2021.
Journals included (see the list): Hybrid journals. Cell Press and Lancet journals are excluded.
Types of articles included: All types of articles are included.
Discount to publish in any fully open access journal: 10% discount.
