Add Works to your ORCID Record

Works are your research outputs, including publications, data sets, conference presentations, and so on.

There are five ways to add works to your ORCID record yourself:

  1. Add works by directly importing from other systems, importing links to your publications and other works to your ORCID record from other databases. This is the recommended process because it reduces or eliminates errors and guarantees a reliable connection between your ORCID iD and your works.
  2. Add works using an identifier.
  3. Import works from a BibTeX file.
  4. Import Works from Publons.
  5. Add works manually.

One thing to bear in mind: By connecting two author profiles from two different platforms, the posts on your profiles could be duplicated. Remember to check the posts on each profile every time you sync data.
